I've had "gig butt" before. Sends you right to the shower without unpacking your bass.

Chuckles I did not make that offer for public relations or to shine the light on me..your plan is so soulful that I would be a jackass to not feel and act that way

I know that BP, but your words moved me, to tears really.

In this day and age when someone does or says something nice I believe you should take notice, because, sadly, most people wouldn't give a ratz ass about me and my Mom.

Of course there seems to be a big exception here at this place, when my Mom got ill I can't count the kind words and pm's I got from you and everyone else. Stuff like that does make me feel better, thanks to all of you.

chuck thats really, really cool!!! so you know Wayne huh? I just read Clapton's Guitar and have a huge respect for the man and would love to get one of his guitars

Hey Phatty, in that book where he talks about the first guitar he ever sold and realized that he could make money from building guitars, that “slick looking” fellow was my Dad. Dad owned three of Wayne’s guitars over the years and I proudly have the last one.

Come to think of it, the first bass I ever played was an upright that had fallen off the top of a car and literally broke into a hundred pieces. Wayne repaired it and it looked like new, my Dad and Wayne, plus several other would have jam sessions at Wayne’s Mom’s house and I got good enough on it to play with them. But my main claim to fame was playing fiddle tunes on alto sax; Wayne called me “Slippers Randolph”…

My Dad, Wayne and I own stock in every volunteer fire department, rescue squad and VFW building up there, we played all of the fund raisers for years… I miss those days, playing only for fun. :D

The Henderson guitar is a work of art in every way. If I see Wayne in bright enough light tonight at the "Grayson County Fiddlers Convention", I'll take some pictures.

I'll for sure take some pictures at his shop when I take "Jewel" up to him, he always has something cool laying around.:D

Hey no problem at all Phatty, I'll try to do it tonight.

But Wayne is the kind of guy that may not even have copy for his self.:D

What do you want it to say?
