I"m 30 next year, my b'day is few days before you Tristan, Nov 23. Thinkin a Luke III.....

I remember my 30th ... sheesh!

My ex threw me a surprise party with relatives that came in from England. Was great, except that my company was going down the tubes (all tech died in 2002 ...) and the next morning I had to get up and pull the "midnight move" to get our stuff out of the office before we had to default on our lease.

Drank all night, slept two hours and then had to move all of our servers, desks, etc. w/o the landlord finding out. Most stressful day of my life!

But it all worked out. Company recovered, I was eventually able to work out a deal with the landlord and pay him off, and the ex eventually left (which is good but that's another story).

So what am I saying? Happy almost birthday!

in 2002 i was at a failing startup too. surprise, surprise ... we were gonna default on the colo lease so we had to do the midnight move to get the servers out of the colo... a 6 ft tall Sun "fridge" kinda, sorta fell on me and pinned me down.

kinda sucked

anywho ... back on topix.
