Now get yer minds out of the gutters, what are you doing with your EBMM that would be considered odd/out of the ordinary/downright wrong?? I'll start:

1. I play stoner rock on my JP7. This could be categorized as odd, but I love using those lower six strings to play the wacked out tunings of QOTSA, Fu Manchu, Sabbath, etc without having to constantly retune my guitar.

2. I don't play Dream Theater on either of my JPs. Main reason being, I can't play like Pet period!!!!

3. I use a Fender gig bag to carry my either of my JPs in. Even worse, it's a John Mayer Fender gig bag!!!!!:eek: For those of you who frequent The Gear Page, just the mere fact I mentioned his name would create a real poo poo storm. I do have a method to my madness as it's an InCase slim bag and at the time Iwas looking for a good quality gig bag for my other guitars (pre joining the EBMM family), InCase wasn't making their Slim or Dug bags anymore but they were supplying their slim bag to Fender for the John Mayer signature strat.

I've had a gold knob/pickup switch, cast for my 06 LEAL.
Solid gold knobs for my balls!!

(still in process of getting gold knobs machined - Mr Expert Lathe operator has shingles!!)

I sprinkle holy water on them.

Ok, I don't really, but they are sort of iconic.

my biggest sin is letting ham fisted friends play it late at night after quarts of bourbon.

I play with my balls in church. In front of about 2000 people a weekend whenever I do manage to actually find time.

I've played with them for weddings and gotten paid for it.

My Italian classical guitar teacher played big band jazz on my JP6. He RAVED about the neck. Never played one before, didn't even know who Music Man was. Now he does :)

Some Billy Joel stuff sounds freakin' awesome on the center position of the JP7, like "Movin' Out (Anthony's Song)".

I've also done Bluegrass with my JP6.

I find them to be the most versatile guitars. Some people say playing Balls makes them want to buy more. Well, I'd like a BFR Luke, BFR JP (gottsa be Amethyst Burst) and an SR5HH. That'll be it, done, fin. I don't even need the Luke or JP but think they are drop dead beautiful. I could use the SR5.

That being said, I got rid of a bunch of guitars when I got my Balls and never replaced them. Didn't need to. My current Balls are more than sufficient. :D
