BP, I think your original response is the correct one. Just have a 'standard response' that indicates to go through the dealer, then customer service (or whatever is proper at EBMM). You aren't being a jerk if you are consistent.

People can just fire off emails and messages at will, it's easy. Maybe he is just lazy or doesn't know any better.

FB is a necessary evil for business. imho. Real estate, teaching Ti Bow, cleaning houses, making guitars, etc.

a friend of mine in a up and coming band The Head and heart just lamented to me the other day about his 165 friend request. I told him its a business and record sales and filling clubs is your business. start glad handing and kissing babies bro.

Sterling I can honestly say their is not another head of a company -I dont care what they sell, as in touch with their consumers as you. How many other players can say they can speak directly to the guy at the top. Tommydude you are not alone, the last thing I want is for people to have easy access to me lol.

BP, I know you are busy and all, but there are certain ways to avoid being listed in the facebook search. That way you could keep your page for your friends.

Honestly I'm kind of giving up with facebook, each day it becomes more weird. The "see friendship" feature, is kind of creepy if you ask me.

Facebook and social networking in general is just one of those things, it has its benefits, it also has its bad points.

I use it (not to PM heads of organisations i must add) and on one hand, i have got back in touch with a couple of my cousins who I have not seen or heard from in years following daft family altercations involving parents! It has been great to do so and it would probably never of happened without it being facilitated by the ease of Facebook.

On the other hand, I have had to remove my own sister as a friend because for some reason, she is unable to interpret the written word and seems to become utterly humourless!! I removed her before our relationship suffered for it. Now, it seems, she is unable to communicate with me because "I am not her friend on Facebook"??? She is still on speed dial on my phone and at the top of my christmas list!

Go figure!

I think some poeple just dont get it (see www.lamebook.com for some good examples :) )
