Hi everybody,

I've been lurking around your forum for a little while, just checking things out.
A month ago I ordered a G&L to replace my crappy Ibanez, and I got a little anxious (12 wk. wait), so I started looking around at other brands for a second bass.

My search led me to your forum, where I picked up a deadly case of G.A.S.

Before I get any further I will give you all a run down on my experience with EB/MM's competition.

I had looked at...

FENDER

Customer Service: Is there any?
Product: Jazz'ers are nice but not worth the price.

LAKLAND

Customer Service: Flip a coin.
Product: Good luck finding one.

I have had a good experience with...

PEAVEY

Customer Service: Perfect. When I had a problem, Hartley Peavey himself jumped in with both feet and fixed it. Now every Peavey dealer in Ohio fears me. The Power!!!
Product: I wish they had something better to offer. They are durable, after nuclear war the cockroaches will be playing Peavey.

I love my JB-2 on order but...

G&L

Customer Service: Don't call us, we won't call you.
Product: :D

By reading all the posts here I can tell ERNIE BALL/ MUSICMAN is the type of company that actually cares about customers and has a quality product too!!!

I mean, Stirling Ball is on the forum!!!!!! Nuff said.

So to wrap this up, I bought a Stingray from Perry at Bass Central. Thanks Perry.
I LOVE my new Stingray!!!!! Thanks to everyone at EB/MM for making such a marvelous bass.

I don't have a digital camera, so no pic's yet. Sorry.

I'm saving for a Stealth Bongo now. That is unless a new limited edition comes out beforehand, hint, hint.

I think I'm hooked.

I have to second that about Peavey, I had a full on deal with them back in 1980 and we we're on tour in Youngs Town Ohio to be exact, Playing a Place called Ponderosa Park, at the time they had Just given me their new Amp Called the MAX, remember that one,

Anyway it was the last song of the show and it Blew, this was on a Sunday and we had another show on Wednesday 2 hours away, so we we're Planning to Pull Out Monday Night, Our road Manager called Peavey Monday Morning AM and with in 2 hours Hartley called us Back with the OK to go to the Local Peavey Dealer In town and swap out my Blown Max for a New one.

To me that was Service at work hands down.
Here at Music man I think you'll find the same, the only difference here is, These are the Best Basses on earth so no need to look any farther.
You have a Home and a Great Family right here on the EB Forum. DJ

Welcome. That Stingray will get better and better. Enjoy, you've purchased one fine Bass guitar.

Oh by the way, that's Sterling with an "e" not an "i"..........

Ernie and Sterling are the reason we are all here together..........:D

Given the weight placed on the value of customer-service, you've certainly made the right observation - and better still, the right choice - with EBMM.

Welcome! :D
