im still waiting for more photos mark...

My good camera is still on it's way from Jakarta in our shipping container, so you'll have to settle for what the little Casio can do. The finish on the 30th is very hard to photograph well in a quick point and shoot session, since the finish is very mirror-like, so good photos will have to wait until I have the time to do so and the lighting is right.

In the meantime there are plenty of other 30th pics on the forum.

Based on the stamp on the packaging label that's on the box, this bass shares my birthday. How freaky is that?

Now all I need is for my bass rig to clear quarantine in the next week or so in order that I can plug this baby in and give it a blast. Sucks living out of a suitcase for almost 8 weeks now. Mind you, I could run the 30th into my PA desk via a DI and hook that up to a power amp and then to Henry the 8x8 (all stuff that was in storage during my Jakarta adventure, and has now been delivered to the house), but I think I'd prefer to wait until I have my usual preamp and power amp in the house.

If Sterling and Jack are enamoured by the tone of the 30th that's good enough for me to wait a week or so.

Not yet, since our bed and other essential items are still in a shipping container awaiting Customs clearance. So, we're crammed into a serviced apartment with a walking, climbing 11 month old and a couple of suitcases.
