o0hh and thanks and praise goes to mr.b :)

your little un' is a class act he is sure to be a fine player like his dad...his whammy skills were sick :)

thank you sir. on all accounts. and thanks for the making the deal go sweetly. little L is gonna be a hell of a player some day. and a pretty fjookin good drummer to boot!!!

folks, its a strange world out there in guitardom. i sold an axis many moons ago to buy a JP. i never did get the JP as i used the funds to buy stuff for the new house. so a wee while ago, i happened upon a Burnt Apple ASS with piezo and H/Tail. so i snapped it up. loved it. still do but i deceided recently (after finally getting the JP of my dreams) that i didn't need dos guitaros with pizza's (2 guitars with piezos) and that i really missed my axis. so i offered up the ASS for sale. Rob was almost there with the buy but decided on his lovely new blue one instead. no probs. Euan comes along with a trade offer and i consult a mate about it who said 'i'll buy the JP you're getting in a trade'. so that was it. Deal done. so i traded my ASS for another JP then promptly sold the JP for cash to fund the axis and another little project i'm working on ;)

confusing??? hell-no.

so euan, how's the new ball then??

Yeah the ASS is great :)
Im just getting Mr grant to make me some nice leads :)
and its also VERY nice to be able to play the JP every week, even if Mr Sword has lowered the action to an unplayable level......trust The Blade :D

as I mentioned,my needs at this present time means that a guitar with a hardtail and piezo's are a must,Im playing in a functione band play a WIDE range os tyles and there are too many tuning changes and all that Jazz and Im a one guitar does all type of guy.......and the ASS out performs all the other guitars in this config. its great :)

And the little 'un is gonna be smashing player

the blade broke the top E after about an hours playing!!! and i didn't think there was any need to lower the action at all. ah well, fret buzz is part of his sound. :D

haha

he was telling me that he snapped it,the ball end unraveled!!!

and he has the action stupidly low but its still fine

he is regretting changing the action :)

I had it tweaked perfectly(for me anyways) but he wants it back up again

perhaps fret buzz is his main ingredient amongst that MIDI marvel that he uses :D

it is a VERY complex set up,or at least the way he has it running

Its pretty easy to use though which is good I suppose

I have never got my head round the MIDI way to work a set up,I understand it but I like the pedals in front of me

saying that I really like the G System, well it isnt MIDI I suppose :)
