mesaboobie......check out the brf pic thread and look for one that you like and then contact that dealer...that was you get what you want

+1 on that. Joe, remember the Ruby BFR that I had? Thats how I got it through GC. I gave James and the guys the serial number of the guitar which was in the BFR thread along with the pic and they tracked it down to whichever store had that exact guitar. You'll definitely get the kinda top you want if you do it that way. If you want some help, let me know bro.

Wow guys thanks for the all the help! I found 6 that I like and now I need to narrow it down. I had no idea you can check what guitars went to what stores. I wish I knew this before I ordered a guitar. Here are the six that I like and any "positive" help in picking one would be respected! It's a forum for help and information and thats why I joined. These guitars were made to be played more then talked about. So here is what I picked out!

Good choice for choosing the 1st one. To be honest, the one you have now - "big thick quilt" is very very nice and unique. Really. Anyway, the choice's yours. Congrats in advance.

NM, read the rest of the thread.

Edit : I would pick the first one and have it tracked down. They are all amazing looking guitars though and I'm sure they all play just as good as they look.

I have to comment...I have my first EBMM on order and couldn't be more excited to soon become an owner. BP's commitment to his product and helpfulness is something I've never seen from any other company, period.

Having been following the forum for the past few months, I feel like part of a family here.

This thread suddenly got good!!! My view, fwiw, is that the third one in black is the nicest quilt, but if you're heart is set on Bahama Blue, I'd go for the 1st one. But, they are all stunning. Stick around mate, and show us some more pics when it arrives. You'll be pleased you did.

I agree, and with that in mind it would be nice to see the 'good stuff' continuing in a new thread so the title of this one could quietly disappear off the radar. If it were my business I'd be pretty cheesed off if each time I logged on the thread at the top was describing one of my products being described as a 'Dud' especiallly when the problem seems to have been solved. Just my opinion :p ( Of course before someone tells me I'm doing the same, it's already still at the top with over 1500 views)

Joe, in the thread where you found the pics, underneath each pic of the guitar(s) you like, it should say what dealer its going to and the serial number of the guitar. Give James or someone at GC the serial numbers of the guitars you're interested in and they'll be able to track down which stores have them.

I like the title haha. If you haven't already picked, I'd personally go with the 6th BFR that's posted. I love that top!

Nice title! Now you have to get rid of the sad face! So in waiting for the Petrucci order I managed to find this baby! I had one years ago with a flame top. This one is mint and smokes!!! So now I'm official again. If it makes a difference I used my old sting ray bass to record with my last band.
