Welcome to the club, Whoopass....(geez, that sounds funny!) :D

Nice purchase, and a great deal - congrats!

Just curious, how does that Ed Roman "blackback" pickup sound? He hypes those things up, that's for sure.

BTW, have a look around in recent postings from Norm, our resident Silo nut, for an ultra-beeeyooteefull Blue Dawn Silo with the abalone pickguard and matching aftermarket knobs. Truly a sight to behold...

Welcome to the board! Nice purchase and believe me, the EBMM line is addictive. No cure as far as I can see, but well worth the habit! :D

PurpleSport is right, Norm has a beauty of a silo. You need to check it out.

Again, welcome!

Re: Welcome

Thanks, Guys!

The strange thing is, I was really in the market for an Ernie Ball Axis (after playing one over Xmas). Then a few weeks back, I bought one of those Line 6 Guitar Port packages with an OLP MM-4 guitar tossed in for like an extra 30 bucks. After playing the OLP, I figured if the cheap version of the Silhouette plays pretty good, the real thing has got to play phenominal....(which it does!).

After doing some research (lurking on this board for awhile) , I saw that Silhouettes used to come with a Floyd Rose Trem option. So I started checking out flebay to see if I could score one with a Floyd.....and at $500, I had to jump on it!

Down the road, I'll probably get a twin for this one. (Preferably the 2 Pickup Humbucker version with The Floyd....If I can find one.) This is really a great guitar,...All my other ones are starting to get jealous.

FWIW, my cat's name is "Whoopass", that's how I came up with that strange username.

Welcome, whoopass. (LOL, that just rolls right off the fingers!)

That's a sweet piece of art you've got there; those are great guitars. If you have any questions, I'd say that norm's our resident Sil guy. On the same token, we have so many knowledgable cats on this board, you'll get what you need somehow.

Whoop a**, whoopass. :)

Twins are cool

Just to wet your appetite I thought I would share this with you. Sorry it's not for sale.

You were lucky to get one of the female silo's. I got a male and it just stays out all night with its buddies and forgets my birthday.

It hurts. Right here <me/ points at chest>

Both of my Petrucci's are girls, I just sit and watch them! It's my amp that goes out all the time!;)
