Labor Day was my birthday (Mom's anniversary of "Labor Day") and The Bass Tiki presented me with a surprise on the morning after...

The EXACT Sterling 5 that I've been dreaming of, came available on eBay on my birthday and was delivered to my inbox...well, not the EXACT, cuz no Amethyst Burst available, but it's Cherry Burst, maple/matching H/S....

I pull the payment trigger tonight, and I am THRILLED!!!! Pics will follow shortly, so this'll be legit...

Update: Welcome to middle age or SOMETHING...the last three days have featured some of the most EXCRUCIATING lower back spasms that I've ever felt, resulting in a Saturday morning stay in the ER at Los Robles Hospital (all clear, but they recommended a lower back MRI just to see what's up (possible disc issues...ugh) BUT THIS WILL BE HERE NEXT FRIDAY!!!

Good stuff!! Nice looking bass. A week ago, I ordered a Sterling5 HS according to the following specs:
Maple Neck, V. Sunburst, with black pearloid pg.

Can't wait... I was trying to find some videos of the sterling5 but they are very few. If anyone can throw some video links my way, it will be greatly appreciated.
