Just got my 1st MM

Hi, I totally understand this thread. After 35 yrs of playin I just got my 1st MM SR5 H & It'll be the only bass I'll play I reckon:D -apart from my E.uprite. Why have I left it SO long to get one- 1. I live in Aust. & they're MUCH more $$$( $3300) here-as is anything US made & 2. I only played a SR5 last year for the 1st time & compared it to a SUB 5 that was more in my price range & the SR5 BLEW IT ( & me ) OUTTA THE WATER !!! So I at last got one on ebay in purrrfect nick too!!!

easy now, I'm not looking for a fight I was merely saying....... AGGIES RULE and eveerything else DROOLS!!! (except Dudley and the amazing engineering staff @ MusicMan the do kick a$$)

Meet me over on The Pit in the J-Retro forum with that dribble fatboy...I'll send you one to demo and you'll shut up fast bleeb me. They smoke Aggies and Barts all day long.

That said, I would never even consider replacing my preamp in my Bongo with a U-Retro, Aguilar or Bart.

Well a J-Retro saved my JO.

I was a hold out on EBMM basses back when I started, I didn't like the egg shaped pickguard, and lets face it boys, bass is all about the pickguard.

So I bought an SR5, found this EBMM bass thing didn't have all the problems that all my other basses had and sounded like what I want to hear as soon as I plugged it in.

Then the pickguard grew on me and now I'll never be without a Sterling and a Bongo. many Sterlings and Bongos. I don't currently have any SR's but I've been missing them and may have to add a SR4 back to the stable. I'll always be a fan of EBMM, they truly are great! Great people too!
