Well - at 9:43 this morning I got taken up to 11,000 feet in a tiny little plane and promptly chucked out of it I have some pictures for you guys - none of after unfortunately as I had to go and get all the gear off and wasn't allowed to pose for piccies - but there is a video that will be in my possession very soon which shows everything from start to finish

First of all though, I just wanted to thank you guys for the HUGE amount you raised for charity - it will make SUCH a difference to so many children - you lot are just the best and I have been simply overwhelmed with your generosity.

Please avoid any comments about my oh-so-sexy-I'm-about-to-be-shot-out-of-a-cannon hat I am quite aware of how daft I look

Here is me with the plane - at about 8 o'clock this morning - sun shining RIGHT in my eyes

Me, Trev and the sexiest outfit you EVER SAW! If only I'd known at this point that I was allowed to take the hat off, I would have!

My tandem instructor Craig and I before the jump - we are waiting for the plane at this point to pick us up - I was on the second plane-load of the day having been there since 7:30!

I do have a bit of video footage shot by Trev on the camera that I may try and put up later, but wanted to get these pics up for you asap.

And YES I LOVED IT AND WANT TO DO IT AGAIN! It was absolutely fantastic and everything that you all said it would be But for now I soooooo need sleep!

Koogs - you didn't warn me about how much it hurts your legs and bum!!!

Congratulations, Azzy!

I'm not crazy about heights, so I think plane jumping is off the menu for me. My good friend (who just registered here under the name JaffT) has done a 10,000 foot jump and as I recall he really enjoyed it

I was going to comment about the cafe name, but you beat me to the punch!

The landing can be a little rough if you don't flair the chute at the right time...but, glad to see you had fun.

I went with no music for the jump itself - it was such an incredible experience and one of the best things is just the sheer peacefulness when the chute opens and you're drifting down... so good choice there I think!

My DVD will be with me in about a week - the lady who jumped with me to film can do up to 10 a day, so they'll be done in the week and it will be sent to me - that will most likely have music on it that they've chosen, so I'll have to make use of all of your suggestions for the soundtrack for that We've got about 6/7 minutes of footage to put music too! And you guys came up with so many great suggestions that I'm not going to be lacking for ideas! Once it's here, it'll be whacked online for you all to see - apologies in advance for the lack of screaming - I'm too busy grinning like a nutcase!

Now I've had a sleep I feel even more tired and achy but can't believe its done already! So sad

I would have loved to have landed on my feet, however they insisted on bums and yelling "feet up, FEET UP!" at me - so I was paranoid about breaking my legs by not having them up far enough

Then the first thing I have to do is pose for a picture for the sodding work magazine - managed to take off the sexy hat first though, so I'll be spared that embarrassment

To those of you who think you'd never be able to do it, I urge you to think about it again - you know, I only have 1 Ball, so if I can do it... Plus, you don't even have to jump - the guy throws you out as you're busy waving at the camera for posterity!
