You remember that time when Azzy jumped out of an airplane?

Good Times.

LOL! :p :p :p
That's like Chris Farley interviewing Paul McCartney.

Chris "Remember when you were with the Beatles?"
Paul "Well, Yes I do"
Chris "That was really cool!"

Azzy: At any moment before the jump did you have second thoughts where you were going to bail out?

I was more than mildly crapping myself this morning, but as soon as I got there and my name got called out over the tannoy for training, NO WAY! I did get a bit scared as I was then called out for suiting and going up only like, 10 minutes later!

But I was determined to enjoy myself - and I most certainly did! We're now sat here putting together our list of music with help from you guys for the video - it's gonna be so hard to choose just a few! :D

The whole thing is awesome!

It reminds me of when we went whitewater rafting. My wife was in total fear from the beginning, but we all convinced her to do it. Most of the rapids were no big deal, just really rough waters. But this one rapid entitled the gauntlet was a really wild one. Just before reaching it, our guide told us how complicated it was to maneuvre and told us that there have been people that drowned here so if anyone wanted to walk around it, noboby would think any less of them. 2 rafts before us overturned to later pick up the passengers down stream. I could see that my wife was really getting nervous and I thought for certain she wasn't going to do it (she's not adventurous at all). But she did!!! It was a crazy run that required a huge team effort to come through. The thrill of it was awesome and I was so happy for her that she did it. So the point of all this rambling is that one less fear was conquered and there's never any need to look back and think of what it would have been like, because you never did it!

You'll be a better person for yourself because you did it.

Thanks Foggy :)

This is why I'm determined to get Trev to do it - I LOVE heights and rollercoasters etc, but he HATES heights :D And I reckon there's no better way to get over the fear!

Great job Azzy!

That suit and "hat" look like something out of a particular Woody Allen movie that I'm sure some of the older forumites remember.

Nice one Azzy! Looking forward to some video footage, I'm intrigued to see what a "falling out of a plane face" actually looks like.

Glad you had fun and lived to continue enjoying the Sterling! :D

There will be a choice of faces as I pull several :) The crazy woman on the camera kept pulling them, so I thought I'd pull back! Well, try to anyway - hard to make any sort of face at that speed :D

As for my new baby, I love LOVE LOVE IT! It is newly strung and oiled - sounds fantastic :) Little tweak of the truss rod and it's the best bass I could ever have asked for! Thankyou :p

Awesome... its kind of fun to confront these kinds of things isn't it.

There is something in me that has always wanted to go sky diving. Very afraid of heights though.

Ironically I can swim like a fish outta water... have never been interested in snorkling or scuba because of my fear of the ocean.... but for some reason I did go snorkling with sharks near a small reef off the phi phi islands. The really weird thing is that I would never do it again... despite really enjoying it.

Good to hear your back on the ground safe and sound Azzy. I am with Jack I want one of those hats. That hat has gig quality written all over it. :)
