Im torn between in a hard choice

Im torn betweem getting a Bongo 5 Dual Humbucker Pickups or a second hand Chapman Stick. Any insight in which corner i shall sway. I love the sound of the Bongo, no fault in that but the Stick is so kool and would be lovely to learn?

You're def not comparing apples to apples or even apples to any other fruit. Maybe apples to ground beef. Anyway what are you going to use a new bass for?

Well ill have a stingray 4 and a SUB 5. Im leaning towards the bongo atm as the sound is so amazing and i cant be bothered to learn a new instrument atm. Has anyone played a Chapman stick, wondered wot you all think of it?

That's interesting. I now have a SR4 and a SUB5. Do you find that they compliment each other?

I've read that the Chapman Stick's learning curve is fairly steep. I've seen Trey Gunn up close, and while he makes it look easy, it's apparently anything but . . . I guess what I'm saying, is that from the reading I've done, you're not going to pick up a Stick and start wailing away.

sorry forgot to say i havnt got a SR4 yet. Kinda strap for case should be geting it jan next year. But the SUB is amazing

I have a friend who is really great on the Stick.Trust me - it is not for the faint of heart. A two handed tapping instrument.....steep and long learning curve.

yeh tis a hard instrument but when you master it i bet you could turn heads at gigs couldnt you
