Joe, it's a MM board, filled with MM lovers who are enthusiastic about MM. Besides, I highly doubt anybody has seriously shunned him for wanting a Warwick, we haven't all switched to being unfriendly troggs.

Like I said, it's a MM board, we're entitled to poke fun at everything else just as much as somebody in entitled to like something else. Try going over to Warwick's board(if they have one?) and mentioning how you traded yours for a Bongo. You think you'll get loving embraces?

Besides, let's face Warwick is the Devil, all those strange shapes and woods and enormous necks, clearly hand crafted by the League of Dark Minions and fuled by the blood of innocence.

Of course, this is all IMHO and all those disclaimers, , it's just a little fun, when we start cursing, arguing, yelling, and throwing our axes at each other in the heat of battle, then we've gone too far methinks.

ps, I kinda like warwicks myself

Bravo, Joe Nerve, bravo!

*clap clap clap*

I support everyone's right to own whatever bass makes them happy, even if I secretly laugh at them behind their back.

I mean, he had to know we were going to give him a little bit of sh!t, right? If I'd posted that, I'd expect it and have fun with it!

Right up until BP fired me as moderator, then I would cry a little bit and be ashamed and hide myself and stuff.

It seems the unclearness of the internet strikes again. I'm not exactly sure what's going on now, and so to avoid further conflict

I sentance myself to fifty, nay, Sixty public whippings.

One

You guys really get to me. The dude wants a Warwick. What's the big freakin deal. They make great basses too. Why do you all have to make a bunch of jokes about it, as if MM basses are the only ones worth anybody's money. I really think you all need to get a life, and realize that the electric bass world doesn't revolve around Bongos, Stingrays and Sterlings. And don't go giving me crap about the fact that some of you know I just sold my Warwick to get another Bongo. Yeah, the Warwick sounded like farty garbage in comparison, it was way to heavy to jump around naked with, and the curve of the neck killed my wrist and nearly gave me KT syndrome - but you don't don't see me trashing them here. I personally think you'd have to be completely insane to trade a Stingray for a Warwick, but I have respect and would never criticize someone else for wanting to do something so stupid. Grow up guys.

Wow. We all apparently have the maturity of an 8 year old school girl. May we be cast asunder for poking fun.

I mean, I read somewhere that God said, "Thou shalt not joke about back straining basses."

I'm sorry. That was really blasphemous. I shouldn't have done that. I couldn't resist though.

It's all in good fun though. SIMMA DOWN BROTHA! :p

Hello, my name is Chuck and I'm a bassoholic...

*Hello Chuck*

I love bass guitars, all kinds... cheap whore ones (insert brand name here)

I love dressed up pigs with a big set of Bart'knockers and a hot wet "aggie"...

I ain't too crazy about those sphaltedassphalt, morningwood buldgebugna wood ones that you have to clean and polish with "Miracle Grow"...

But my favorite one('s) is an EBMM.

I appreciated Joe Nerve's satire right away, but then I'm a guitard.
Joe, if you don't write professionally somewhere, you ought to...
