I am a surveyor. I just split 1700 acres in Date Creek, Arizona down to a load of 160 acre parcels. Then I started splitting those down to 32 acre parcels. Since I live in Tucson, I think I can answer this in the affirmative. Don't forget the rattlesnakes and tarantulas. Please don't tell me you're out there in the middle of July surveying!!! I mean, sure I go out mountain biking when it is hitting 115 but that is usually only for an hour or two, completely voluntary, I got an ice chest full of gatorade waiting on me and a truck with good A/C.

I can't believe how AZ is growing. I just don't understand these crazies that wanna move to the desert. Especially near Wickenburg. Prescott, Sedona, Flag, sure, but Wickenburg!?!

Do you really want to let some dips**t with a knife get that close before you deal with he/she/it? Plug 'em from a safe distance, and be done with it . . . . Reaction times have shown that even for cops, if a guy gets closer than 20 feet to you with a knife, you CANNOT react in time to protect yourself . . . . so, unless you have a 21' bat, you are pretty much screwed . . . .
