half ownership in a piece of real estate not even on the market yet. Somebody sooth my jangled nerves. Steve, PayPal should be jingling at you. OK, really, the credit card company has 50% stake in it but still... :D The Hunt For Egyptian Smoke October.

PS: The first set of Roger Waters tickets are here. Haven't heard anything from Cricket Pavilion about the good seats. Hmmm...

Hey Maddog,

I am a surveyor. I just split 1700 acres in Date Creek, Arizona down to a load of 160 acre parcels. Then I started splitting those down to 32 acre parcels. Then I found out the guys that ordered the splits didn't even own it yet! It happens all the time. Relax! Have a drink! Let the coolness get into your vertebrae!

Since I live in Tucson, I think I can answer this in the affirmative. Don't forget the rattlesnakes and tarantulas. Please don't tell me you're out there in the middle of July surveying!!! I mean, sure I go out mountain biking when it is hitting 115 but that is usually only for an hour or two, completely voluntary, I got an ice chest full of gatorade waiting on me and a truck with good A/C.

I can't believe how AZ is growing. I just don't understand these crazies that wanna move to the desert. Especially near Wickenburg. Prescott, Sedona, Flag, sure, but Wickenburg!?!

Probably since .50 cals are illegal in Cali nowadays.

Not here in AZ! You can get a concealed carry permit for almost anything short of a flippin' bazooka out here! My personal choice is the Magnum Research "Baby" Desert Eagle 9mm!!

I don't know you Americans and big guns.....whats wrong with a bass ball bat or (and believe me on this) this simple unobstrusive BIC biro. Now that does not even mess the lines up on your suit.....:D

I don't know, I think it all goes back to a time when we had to fend off some folks from the UK.... :D

Do you really want to let some dips**t with a knife get that close before you deal with he/she/it? Plug 'em from a safe distance, and be done with it . . . . Reaction times have shown that even for cops, if a guy gets closer than 20 feet to you with a knife, you CANNOT react in time to protect yourself . . . . so, unless you have a 21' bat, you are pretty much screwed . . . .

Mine isn't a "big gun", it's the "Baby" model. :D

I keep the big one in the house! Ruger Super Redhawk .44 Magnum!
