yeah but there would probably be a gun attached.

I doubt very seriously that the Australian Government would let me bring a firearm into the country nor that I would feel the desire to have one while I were visiting. unless I felt the desire to defend myself against one of those bloody crocodiles but then I'd be better off with a nice hunk of C4 and a short timer or better yet, a nice roll of duct tape. :D

did you see the report about the guy up north at a local zoo who was cutting down a fallen limb off a tree. the branch was over a croc pen and it jumped into the air and bit the chainsaw out of the guys hand. then used it as a chew toy haa haa, the croc was actually injured, as one can imagine... yay for queensland haa haa

Or, you can arm yourself with an Olympus point-and-shoot and a single-speed beach cruiser...:D

Yes. After dealing with rattlesnakes, mountain lions and a bear, I give a wide berth to most wildlife. Predators are so dang unpredictable. I don't like to get close enough to hear if their belly is growling or not. I've considered carrying a gun while mountain biking but more worried about crashing with a loaded gun in my pack than being attacked. Big kitties like to chase fast moving objects

:D

If you ever make it over to Miami, take a day and go to Shark Valley off of Hwy 41 (midway to the Gulf).

3 hours on a beach cruiser doing a 15mi loop (after you sign a waiver...), surrounded by alligators.

What a rush! :D

My semiauto AK-47 is a Romanian SAR-1. Cool rifle! I also have a S&W .45 Colt & a Rossi .357 Magnum. Never had to use any of them on a human, thank goodness, but I did have to threaten a couple of drunk rednecks with the .357 one time.

Tom,

Did you get the 4 tix in the 300 rows yet? As I said last week, I'll take at least 2 seats off of you in the 300 rows or if you have a sausage fest brewing up there then all 4 in the 400 rows.

LOL! I used to own an S&W .357 back in San Diego...now I own a Gamo Air Gun (bb's) that I used to shoot rats with when we had heavy vegetation outside our house...hasn't had any use in over three years. :D
