Was wanting a 5'er even though my current situation doesn't really call for it. Getting this next week from TB. Pro re-fin. Funny thing is, the guitar player has a silver sparkle tele from a former project he was involved in - a Buck Owens tribute band. Matching bookends!

I hear ya ! ! ! .... only, I secumbed. I didn't NEED another 5FL,
but there was this GnL L2500 in that same large-flake silver
sparkle finish, at a silly price, so I bought it .... and gig it every
xmas season.

That SUB prolly would been a better choice. Great snag there !

Gigged with it for 2 sets on Saturday. Was great! So playable. Great tone, great low B. I think a regular SR5 neck would be a tad more comfortable. I wonder if a regular SR5 neck would bolt onto the Sub5?
