I just have to testify and no one wants to listen. Maybe here there is some one who might care.
It's been almost three years now and I still love my fretless Sterling. It has caused me to want something even better, but sometimes I still think that maybe nothing is. Or to put it another way, the Sterling is already more than I deserve, more than I'd ever hoped for.
For those who say it's not fat enough, a pox upon them I say. Put some flats on it, tweak the knobs a little and it oozes cholesteral. For those who say it's not clear enough, phooey says I. Maybe a passive bass would be cleaner on a recording, but out in the real world it'll cut through Geetar Joe's Twin Reverb and ring like a bell. Put some rounds on it and it'll sing sweet and clear.
And the neck is just fantastic!!!
So bring on the two PUpper. Make it even better. C'mon, I dares ya! Though I've never experienced the EB version, the 83 Sabre I have doesn't really make it IMHO. So don't f**k it up this time!
