sorry Andrew.... I know, I leave for home tomorrow so I gotta see if it came yesterday or not but I think my wife will mainly want to talk about her time at the U2 concert last night rather than if my bass arrived! hey Monk... you’ve really got me thinking about getting that Fishman Platinum eq...... are you really sold on it , the specs seem great.
anywho....... 32 more hours.......

Hello Psychicpet!

just wondering, where did you order your Bongo from? I'm from Vancouver, BC as well and am looking into getting a music man (haven't decided whether Sterling, Stingray, or Bongo - they're all so nice).

cheers!

Hey Baa Baa!!! I think Ive heard of you guys.... must keep me up on your gigs! anywho, I live in Langley and Steve D. and John M. in guitars at L&M are really good guys to deal with. Just let them know that Peter Davyduck sent you :p well, actually they’ll probably say that it’s too bad you know me but...hehehe they are really good guys and they actually have a black SR5 and a sunburst StingRay4 right now PLUS my fretless SR5!!
and hey, if you wanna try out a Bongo let me know and I’ll try to hook you up with my fretted if you want.

Hi Peter!

Actually I just read your website and linked up your name! Yes, I've heard of you through a friend of mine who is friends with Graham Ord (haha, actually my friend, Stephen, was scheduled to sub in as Graham's bassist when you were unavailable, apparently you were playing bass with some guy...Brian Doerksen? :)
Anyways, you're the awesome bassist my friend was talking about all along!

I borrowed Stephen's black Sterling to record our latest CD, Blend - that was when I started having GAS for a music man.

Graham Ord worked with Rick Colhoun, who produced our CD! The sitar in the intro of our song "Fade" is Graham's...hehe.

Interesting, what a small world!?

Yeah, I am looking for a music man, currently checking out ebay offerings (this one looks neat)- but when I'm in Langley, I'll try to stop by L&M as you've recommended.
Thanks for your kind offer to try out a Bongo, I'll definitely keep that in mind :)

Cheers!
Bertrand.

too cool! My buddy Jon just bought (a couple of months ago) Rick a.k.a. Rocko Burger Colhuon’s Soundcraft mixing console. And Graham, that must’ve been a day to have him in to do sitar!! :D :D
hopefully we’ll bump into each other sooner or later.

peace,
pete

haha, no, the sitar was Graham's but it was Rocko Burger Colhoun who was playing it.
But Graham did stop by on one of our recording days to say hi. ;)

later,
Bertrand.
