Thanks to Jim (gearhunter420), this one is headed Downunder :D

Looking forward to getting to know Big Al and pressing some buttons.

This means my Pearl Purple '99 Stingray is on the market. I'll add it to the FS sticky shortly.

The EQ is something else Mark. The less is more approach to control an EBMM still applies somewhat but you could actually dime the treble knob on the Big AL and the sound never gets brassy.

I am intrigued about the pairing of this EQ with a traditional EB bridge bucker. It sounds like a winner.

Nice Bass Mark, I thought you weren't getting one why the sudden change of heart?

The skinny neck is the only thing that made me hold off buying one, but it ticks all the other boxes, so I'm willing to give it a fling. The colour combo was the clincher of course :)

Mark, I think you will really enjoy playing the big Al. I was a bit skeptical when I first saw them, and I do not mind the wider Stingray necks. I decided to bring in a Big Al, because frankly it would have been a long time before the local EBMM dealer would have brought in a Big Al, and I was curious as to what the buzz was all about. The Big Al gave me a nice rich full bottom end, the type of sound I prefer. A month or so ago I found a very well priced white Big Al, and decided I only needed one of them. Trust me Mark, the last Big Al is going nowhere.......

Once again, enjoy you new bass.

Jim
