Honeyburst is one of my fave finishes with a Rosewood 'board, but I always pictured it with a Tort pickguard...

Aussie Mark is our bona fide Tort whore...I can't stand it.

Tort, that is...not whoreishness, which I in fact do admire! :D

Yep, you got me on this one! :D

Let's face it, the Stingray tone is it for me...end of story.

I've found a love for both my Bongo and StingRay tone.

If it comes down to the nitty gritty, it's the StingRay5 all day.

God bless that tone.

HB SR4-HH in 'da house!

...well, at work anyway.

What a great finish...HoneyBurst has a nice, rich texture to it (Steve had mentioned it before; dead-on right)!

Can't wait to run this through my rig tonight; test all the different p/up config's!

Thanks Brad!

the HH SR4 is amazing. how could u not have considered it?

nice grab james

Thanks, Arin and Andrew!

Kind of a "traditionalist" when it comes to Stingrays, and TBH, I won't be using this one for old school R&B; TransGold SR4-H w/flats for that.

But Good God...the tone variations and growl you can dial in!

Yes, I did go home for lunch...:D

I'm glad you like the HH Ray, James. I'm very happy with the Bongo, it's super light and I really like the single H tone compared to the HH Bongos I've had in the past. I loved the tones of the HH Ray but 10.3 lbs - OOF! I'll find myself a light one someday.

Flats for old school R&B; RW's for everything else.

On crack...dunno. ;)

Let's give the guys who have one already (or at least have a confirmed order for an SR4-HH) a chance before I send it your way.

We'll give this the weekend; by Monday it's out the door.

That would be funny, purchasing a new bass just to get the free pickguard...

...kind'a like purchasing a new vehicle just for the free air freshener.

I have to stop using this forum. I have my first EBMM bass on order ... and when I see pics like this piece of art, it makes the waiting seem worse! Beautiful bass my man.
