I just took delivery of my first Sterling as well. No where near as cool as yours but I am thrilled with it. So light, so small and oh so easy to play.

If I may quote George Takei (Mr. Sulu)...."Oh My!" Yeah, that's a nice one alright. Love the Sterling. So, this is your first? First of several more to come? I got 3 Sterlings now. Balls are like M&Ms - you can't have just one.

Estimated delivery was today, but I just checked the FedEx site & apparently my bass needed to sit in Memphis for 4 days. So ... wait extended until 4/8. Bummer!

"Forty seconds?! I want it NOW!" ... Homer Simpson

My new Big Al 5 single H that arrived just one hour ago spent the entire weekend in Memphis as well. Hang in there, I definetly know what you are currently going through.

My new bongo showed up yesterday, unfortunately they shipped me the wrong bass & now I have to wait another 3 days... can you say mental anguish:( Thursday can't come soon enough...

I was thinking about you yesterday...

I've always worried about receiving the wrong bass as well.

Thursday? That's not too bad! And you know you'll get the right bass this time! :D

Yeah, mistakes happen... but it's how the mistakes are corrected that separates the good dealers from the bad ones, and let me tell you - Bass Central is a GREAT dealer. The only bad part is that I got to actually hold the one they sent me... I didn't want to put it back in the box and send it back:(
Oh well, good things come to those who wait:D

Wonderful looking bass! Be careful, once you have been bit by the Sterling it will be hard to stop at one. They are just so comfortable to play!

Actually, I ended up going with a Classic Ray in the same package, but with flamed neck/board, rather than birdseye.
