Initial thoughts on sub 1

Well what can i say this guitar is bloody great,after years of playing epi les pauls and ibanez,s including a ibanez rg1550 prestige this guitar puts them all to shame with the a1 unbelivible quality and tone.The neck pup can be so woman type tone and its great for sabbath,blackmore ect,iam very veryhappy with this and its most definatley a keeper,i dont need any other guitar,all that remains is for me to get a blackstar ht5 combo to go with my marshall hybrid amp,As i have now sampled ebmm there is no goin back!!

What a great report on a great guitar. Sub1's are so underrated it just baffles me why more people didn't pick them up new when they had a chance.
All you have to do is give CS a call and order some Molex connectors for it and you have the ease in changing pickguards too. Glad you are liking yours and I'm sure you're going to have many hours of great playing on it.

You found the same as most of us....that neck pickup is killer. I can get tones from that thing that I can't touch with my JPs, Lukes or other brands. My Sub is never going anywhere.

Not to hijack the thread, but does anyone have a pg tracing for a dual hb with trem? I'd like to order a custom pg - and I'd rather not take the thing apart before I get the new pg if I don't have to.
