Perhaps a small dynamo could be built in so if you pump the pedal up and down really fast it could provide the power as well???

The 25k 6181 VPJR will work in most active situations.

Ah, I was right.

I don't mean "active" as in a volume pedal that works with active electronics.

I mean "active" as in a powered volume pedal that won't lower my gain structure or output levels like all passive pedals do (including EB's, unfortunately).

I'd talk to Dudley about this at the Summer NAMM in pretty great depth, he said it's something he'd like to do one day.

I hope he does! Because currently the only active volume pedal on the market I can find with a decent tone is the Morley.

The WAH will be 9v and AC.

Finally a straight answer...

Peter you will get a faster answer if you call or e-mail customer service in the future. I can't read and respond to every single question that gets asked throught the day so the best route is (800)-543-2255 or [email protected]. Let's try and remember that Sterling is the boss and not customer service.

Thanks,

Scott

I know and respect Sterlings position and have come to understand his sarcasm and was just having fun with it... it wasn't intended to be offensive... and I won't attempt to PM him to clear things up... as that usually makes it worse... LOL! (once again... very sarcastic)

You can buy one of these : http://www.radioshack.com/product/i...32058&kwCatId=2032058&kw=9v&parentPage=search

And solder it on to one of these : http://www.radioshack.com/product/i...kw=9v+adapter&kw=9v+adapter&parentPage=search

Or you can get a female plug : http://www.radioshack.com/product/i...power+jack&kw=dc+power+jack&parentPage=search

And pick the right adapter : http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2049689

Or you can just get the solder-on one that's cheaper.

All in all, for about $20 you'd be plugged in.

I'm sure it will just look like a ernie ball volume pedal, but you never know.

Scott.
