you guys are making me want one NOW! haha

Gonna be tough to pick a color. Carbon blue with a blk pearl pickguard sounds nice...

My Silo is the favourite of my collection (see my signature).

dizzy - that looks really nice man. White looks better than I thought it would, I bet it is better in person.

Anyone direct me to an online vendor here so I can talk pricing?

Thanks.

I never fret out on a Silo Special, even with 1-1/2 step bends. It's a non-issue, imo. Whether you prefer the feel of a flatter neck, such as a JP, is something else again, but I wouldn't worry about fretting out, so long as it's set up well.

well, let me tell you the style of music I play and you can tell me if you think it fits.

Satriani, Vai, Timmons, Johnson, Gilbert, Petrucci

Silhouette a good choice? If not, what is a better one?

Charlie,

I'll echo the others; you can get a good action and not fret out on a 10" radius guitar. I'm pretty sure the only EBMMs that are NOT a 10" radius are the Luke (12") and the JP. Edit On - I forgot to add that the Morse is also a 12" radius. - Edit Off

By the way, the Japanese Satriani models use a metric radius that works out to about 9.8"; not sure about the Korean model.

I think the color I want to go with is the Carbon Blue Pearl. One of my best friends had a Bongo 5 Carbon w/ black ice until it got stolen :(

I have not been able to find a pic of an EB black pearloid pickguard. Not sure what color pickguard would go best with the Carbon...if anyone has any pics or recommendations, I would appreciate it.
