It's not mine, I don't know the guy...but if anyone's looking for a mystic dream w/ headstock then now's your chance! It's only $975 BIN...mint condition so it says. I almost grabbed it myself. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up in case.

I love the 'exclusive formula' to seal the neck.. I believe it's super glue and one other ingredient? Haha. Jon will get a kick out of that one.

It *is* a nice axe though.

Good deal!
The neck does have a nice profile and with the 24 3/4" scale has that different short scale feel. Are those the Ibanez V2 pickups? Pretty nice.

they dont say V2 on them, i'm not extreemly knowlegeable on ibanez stuff....i'm just a big KISS fan. i know that is kind-of a stupid reason to buy a guitar, but in this case it was a wim/win for me! :)

i dont have really long fingers, so the short scale is really good for me!

all i know is the pickups are really hot! i'm glad i got it.

I bought it. My first EBMM. I've played quite a few in my travels over the years and always felt they were really nice, especially for the money. Checked out a JP6 recently and made a mental note to keep an eye out for any good deals. Seemed like a good deal. Not a piezo fan and don't particularly care for the JP inlays, dig the MD paint, so this was the right package for me.

Here's the story: The seller was the original owner. The neck developed a back bow, so it went back to EB. They replaced the neck AND did the super glue sealer. When reassembling, they apparently noticed cracks in the neck pocket, and so replaced the body. So the body and neck are essentially brand new. He says he's been really into Carvins lately and the JP hasn't really been played since it came back. He wants to buy the new Carvin V3 amp and so up on the bay it went.

When I saw the auction, I decided to check this forum out to see what's what. The first post I saw was this one...:Insanely low priced JP:... "Cool. I'll get it." Asked the seller a few questions, hit the BIN, sent the dough, should be here Thursday.

Didn't hurt that I've had Images & Words in the car CD player for the last week or so, either.

I'll probably gab a Luke one of these days (swap out the pups, though).
