You wire the pot part of it exactly the same.

As for the switch ... depends what you want to do. Coil split? Series/parallel? Etc.

coil splits sound KILLER on a JP - at least with the older style bridge pickup (SS). I had my push/pull installed so that it is all humbucking tones when pushed and all single coil tones when pulled. I love it.

which has had better results?
Coil splitting will likely give you a better single coil sound, however you'll pick up noise from the one coil. Parallel wiring is humbucking and can sound good, but generally doesn't sound as convincing. So it really depends what you're going for. If you're playing clean, I'd say you're better off splitting the coils. With a bit of dirt, parallel will probably get you most of the way there with no noise. I've got one guitar wired up with a series/split/parallel switch that controls both HBs and it's pretty cool.

Still, there are lots of other things you can do with a push-pull. Wire up a capacitor to change the brightness of the p'ups, reduce the inductance (make them less middy with more highs/lows) with an inductor (Bill Lawrence sells a good little one, the "Q filter"), add both p'ups in series, etc.
