Is it just me? When using the instrument builder to configure an Axis, even if you select a non-matching headstock, the program is forcing a matching headstock in the results.

Steve, it works fine for me. I am using Firefox instead of IE, but I just checked it out with IE and it's working fine.

Try flushing your browsers cache and reloading the website maybe it will help.

It was just the Axis and not the Axis Super Sport right?

I've seen this in the past when configuring different instruments. I believe there is a disclaimer in some combinations that indicates they don't have pictures of all combinations and are providing an image of the closest possible to the options chosen.

This will probably be dealt with when the updated site is introduced.

+1

all images are at: http://www.ernieball.com/musicman/instrument_images/

browse there ... there's a thread in the forum where a few of us figured out what model numbers are and how the image naming convention works. try the search to find that thread

Glenn,

Yes, it was just for the Axis. I will clear the browser cache tomorrow on that PC and see if that was the problem. It's just strange that it only happened with that model.

I wasn't trying to see the image, I was using it more to locate stores that had a particular guitar in stock (via the 'find it' button).
