While nursing my left hand i was cleaning my gear and noticed my main instrument cable is frayed. This one lasted me quite awhile and has not come out at the jack. I paid about 5 bucks on sale for it.

So i need to get another cable. I am thinking about Planet Waves. Anyone use Planet Waves? They have a life time warranty which probably is worth spending the few extra bucks for it.
i al so like the feature that you can short the cable and unplug it and plug in another instrument without the pops from the amp.

No EB cables here at the dealer

...My hand friken hurts...

I haven't tried PW's yet, but hey, a lifetime warranty can't be beat!

I love spectrflex quad-conductor cable, but have recently been discovering how reliable/durable pro-co silent excalibur cables are....

I make my own cables with funky coloured bits to help me work out what plugs in where! Ran these up against Planet Waves, Whirlwind and Monster Cable with a few regular gigging musicians and they all said my cables carried a better signal

If you look closely, the purple one is a TRS cable for running my JP into the EB splitter box.

George L's are the best sounding cables I have ever tried. I have not tried EB Lo Cap cables.

Planet Waves make excellent products. I have a ton of their accessories. I love the Planet Lock guitar straps. No mods neccessary. Fits the EB/MM endpins perfectly. I'd like to try the Circuit Breaker cable. Petrucci is endorsed by them and has a TRS stereo cable of theirs, but I haven't seen them for sale. Satriani is going to have a signature accessory line through them next year.

thanks guys.

I ended up getting PW CB. $32.00 CDN.

I can't believe what junk my old cables were and how noisy they were compared to MW.

BTW my cable comes with 4 replacement (o-rings)?

Delaware Tommy ( sounds better than tommyindelaware  ) what do you mean by more "microphonic" ?
