I can play a mean cowbell :D As of right now I'm only a bass player but I'm really interested in learning piano and saxaphone, both of which I played when I was younger, but forgot everything unfortunately.

I played trumpet and baritone back in my high school days. Loved the baritone. Then picked up a guitar and played it for 25 years or so. 5 years ago picked up the bass and found where I fit in a band. My guitar chops aren't very good any more and I don't care.

I've been a bass player right from the 'git-go (1979), but I keep an A/E Guild at home when I get in the mood to play guitar.

I play guitar and bass.. I dabble in keyboards and drums.

Played trumpet when I was a kid, and had a drum set, too.

I'm not too bad on keyboards for someone with absolutely no training. The only drumming I do these days is on my Boss DR-770 drum machine though.

Guitar is in my blood. I play, my brother plays, our uncle plays, my grandfather and his brothers played, their father and uncles played...

The violin has always been my #1 instrument...been playing that for 21 years. I can also fake some leads on guitar & plunk a few chords on the keyboard. I know a few chords on banjo, and I've even dabbled with the mountain dulcimer. I also mess around with the harmonica & I'm fairly proficient on the diatonic accordion.

Oh, I play bass, too. :D

Bagpipes.
I must echo Phattduck when he says, "Awesome!" Bagpipes are neat!

Para me, I play some acoustic and/or electric guitar, some upright (whenever there's one around :p), used to play some cello, and of course the electrik bass.

Bass is what I start with and who I am at the core.

Love drums, not the greatest but not the worstse, you gotta figure, I'm a bassist, so I know rhythm.

Wanna pick up a trumpet because it's such a romantic instrument. Who doesn't love brass?

Can play guitar, rhythm and lead fairly well but I'm no guitarist.

I also play guitar and drums... But I am not a guitarist or a drummer - I am a bassist!

I've played drums in bands before and I am pretty darn good (so I am told) but I didn't like being restricted behind the kit. Too far removed from the band and the audience.

Because of my drummer experience though, I find that I am a bass player who is mercilessly-critical of most drummers I play with!

I started playing Trumpet when I was 8. In High School I learned French Horn because they needed a good player on French Horn. I dabble in piano and guitar although I use them mostly for songwriting purposes.

Hey, there's a lot of people here who have played trumpet! :)

I played trumpet in high school and even attended a year of college on a music scholarship. I picked up bass in 1980 and then picked my horn up again in '96 when I joined the Hella Shriner's Drum and Bugle Corps. I don't play trumper or bugle nearly as much as I do bass, but I still compete with the drum corps and play trumpet from time to time with some local groups.

I have dabbled in quite a few instruments - but the bass came first and has stayed with me all the way.

Woodwind included flute, sax, and the occasional bassoon (or baffoon the way I played it)

Strings included viola, mandolin and cistern when I could borrow it, and guitar.

Also piano mainly for writing (I see a joke there but will leave it open)

Quite a lot I know but my parents were quite encouraging and would let me try things....my mum bless her was a first rate piano player and thats where the music came from.
