Interested in buying this Axis SS - any guidance?

I've been offered another hardtail in natural gloss with a rosewood fretboard on a maple neck. Not sure how I feel about this.
Is a RW board considered a good or bad thing, or neither? Thanks!

Certainly it's a preference thing, but I found from my experiences with maple or rosewood I personally prefer rosewood. Easier to keep looking newer, longer and repairs nicer for things like when refretting, fretboard restoration, side marker replacement, etc. That may never matter to you, but for me it's always a consideration, especially for older instruments I may want to tinker with.

For playability or tone considerations I have never found a difference enough to matter.

Thank you, my visual preference is for maple, but I can't be too fussy as a lefty.

Sadly though, I suspect I'm being scammed, as someone calling themselves Scott Harris Guitar Shop responded to one of my FB group wanted ads. I've just searched the shop and found them on FB, however during my search, I also discovered some other forum posts where the same name had been used and turned out to be a scam. the shop looks like an old school family run deal without a website or stock list, potentially making them an ideal target for scammers to impersonate.
To test this, I messaged the shop directly from their FB page and a new messenger window opened up with exactly the same avatar and name etc, but it did not bring up our chat history so far, making me confident this is indeed a scam. I've asked the shop whether they have said guitar in stock and for sale and will await their response.
I'm not holding out much hope.

Be careful out there everyone.

Noted, thanks.

Do cases come up for sale at all and what sort of price do they fetch?
Hi, I have an AXIS case you could have, ( also have a Cutlass and a Valentine ). Im in the UK, always use a Reunion Blues gig bag for gigs, as the hard cases are too big.

Thank you so much, I'll hold that thought. I didn't pull the trigger on that one, however having now not seen another one for sale anywhere in the world outside of the imagination of FB scammers, I might have thought differently. I'm checking all the usual haunts, websites , Reverb etc daily, and will just have to be patient I guess.

I am sure in the US, you can find a "conversion therapy" for lefties ... it's perhaps cheaper than buying a lefty guitar

I have tried a couple of times over the years but just can't progress, sadly.

Learning to play guitar other-handed is like learning to write other-handed. It's absolutely possible but takes a LOT of time to do it well. There are better ways to spend our time.
