a one off with a 950 Bin? And the only bass let through the doors?

BC is a great finish and i fyou want it go for it at the Bin price. It isn't as special as advertised but it is going to be a fine bass if it is a Butter cream EB bass/

E52771....this is the serial number.....maybe we can get the answer to its authenticity.

All Natural Fretboard....sounds to me like all maple. But, what do I know? :D

What a tool. He'll cancel your bid if you don't have 15 postive buying feedbacks, yet he provides no photos. Umm, I guess.

It may be legit, but it doesn't give me the warm fuzzies. I'm a firm believer in trusting your instincts.

Read the text again...They are saying it isn't a rosewood with matching headstock. Not that it is a non matching maple. Non matching was not an option.

Yup, the ad is purposefully ambiguous. Cool bass, asshat seller!

Somethings really wierd about this, Just for the hell of it I Offered him Paypal right now on friday for the bass, said I'd Pay the $950, but i did tell him I knew a Lot about these basses and it's not that I wanted it but something sounded weird, so i offered to Buy it now but asked him to call me on my Cell, Never got one call, and he will not return any of my emails since, So go figure.

Becareful Kids, I smell a ROSE.

I do, what the deal was , is this artist needed a Bass and MM had the buttercream body hanging around but no necks so the artist said he'd take a Plain maple neck and that's how this bass was born, I only know because the artist had contacted me to buy the bass outright. DJ

The term "artist" is beginning to sound derogatory to me these days, what with all these one-off instruments ending up on ebay.

(Plus, in the media, Madonna is referred to as an "artist", so there's that.)

I must not be an artist because I'm keeping my special basses.
