Thanks, hadn't come across those yet. Definitely not the finish for me, sadly the rolls burgundy at the bottom merely reinforces that that's the perfect colour. Oh well...sapphire black it will probably be.

I placed an order for a sapphire black, moonstone pickguard on Saturday. Logged on here this morning, saw your photos at the top of the page and realised just how blue the sapphire is...so just now called them and changed to a stealth. It will be a stealth 6 HH.

p.s. strangely enough the blue only appears in photographs or when you turn it sideways in broad daylight. but i can appreciate your preferences. All good!

Hmm...don't make me question my change! The colour options have been driving me slowly yet inexorably towards madness.
I ordered from a UK dealer, so it will go through S&T.

It seems more like a dark gray to me. It seems like everybody's monitors make colors appear different than they are, and not even consistantly different.
It is really obvious at work, where I have side-by-side monitors, and I cannot get them adjusted so they show colors the same as each other.
BTW, I've had Bongos in both colors, and you are not going to go wrong with either of them.

+1 to that. I feel your pain. it was easier for me to choose the pickup config than the color.
