Hey knuckleheads, I am moving a non EBMM guitar out (Hopefully being able to bring in a new AL after it moves :D) and i was wondering about
International shipping. I have received several questions about shipping it across to Asia. I was wondering what issues arise with shipping international?, I realize the price will increase by alot, but is there any other legal/insurance/customs issues to deal with?

yup makes sense the buyer pays on the side of his home taxes.
shipping charge is up to you to decide with buyer.
100% you. 100% him. 50%-50%, 20-80, 10-90.. you get the picture :)

I would've thought that the buyer picks up the duties/customs tabs on the way in.

I would be very careful...try and use paypal or an equivalent if possible. There's alot of fraud going on these days and these services usually require a valid address and other info.

bank wire. There are plenty of easy scams that crooks use with paypal. They ship you back a box with identical weight of firewood, claiming that there was a problem and then have the tracking info to verify with paypal that the shipment was received by you. Seen it happen a number of times. I've never heard of paypal siding with the seller on this either.
