We're proud to introduce Ernie Ball: The Pursuit of Tone, a documentary series highlighting today's most interesting and influential guitarists (and Ernie Ball string players). Airing exclusively on AUDIENCE Network on DirecTV and AT&T Uverse, the series premiers THIS FRIDAY at 8pm PT/ET with Buddy Guy. Watch as revered blues legend Buddy Guy sits down, talking frankly about a wide range of topics--from how he got his start on a 3-string guitar to his close friend Muddy Waters’ last words of advice.

Watch the trailer below and then tune in FRIDAY to DIRECTV Ch 239/U-verse Ch 1114.

This is in regular rotation now on Axis-TV - catch it if you can as its really great!

I was expecting commercials, but there are none - and no real advertising for Ernie Ball either - so how/why did you guys produce this? I'm happy you did, just don't understand the economics as I'm sure it wasn't cheap as it was done so professionally.

I liked it a lot. An awesome glimpse into the past from a guy who was there and lived it all.

I can't wait for the next one!

An episode featuring Steve Lukather would be incredibly entertaining!

the economics are sort of private but we are paid to produce it and we are in the menu and their is a lot of eb content there are more shows coming

Thanks, BP - just can't say how much I liked it! Rather than some controversy-hyped "Behind the Music" format, it let the artist speak.

Keep up the good work - and I'll be sure to keep buying guitars - which begs the question: when's the new PDNs being announced? :)
