Hey there!
First of all let me apologize if I may have posted in the wrong part of the Forum, but this is not (just) an introduction...

...This is my post for Jim aka Gear Hunter and (formerly) his Sterling 5!
Great bass, great condition ("used"? where?), great price, great nerve going through my tons of anxious messages...I have no words to thank him.

Here's what we're talking about...

As we say here...Mamma mia! :D

Ciao Fred! Very nice! Nothing wrong with Having one of gear hunters "cast offs". With the number of basses he has it has probably only been played once and then "ripened and aged" in his secrete cellar :) congrats!

Hey, ...welcome to the forum Bro! :)

Didn't noticed before Your thread, sorry, ...when I was buying the same EBMM model there were two in the store, mine and natural color like Yours!
Man, ...that was a hell of the decision which one to buy, ...same basses, same tone, different colors!
After oversleep, ...now it's pretty obvious from my signature which one I decided for!

Wish You a many good tunes with this killer bass!
We're brothers in arms now! ;)

P.S. ...thanks for the regards to my YT video Sterling 5 HS demo! It's pretty amateur stuff when I'm watchig it today, but getting the point!
I hope, during the weak wedding season (winter season) I'll do much better demo of my reflex 5 HH with new Coated EB Slinkys!

Same sterling me and keko have, what a great bass! One question though, how did you slip your name past the moderators? In the past they didn't like names with a sexual innuendo, as in "sitonmybass". Sorry, but had to ask.

Ahahah ok, I don't mind having my name changed. Just be aware there was no subliminal message lying in my surname: actually what it was was a kind of germanisation of my surname, and was supposed to be pronounced Fooks with reminiscenes of such people as composer Johann Joseph Fux and architect Massimiliano Fuksas...
Well, at the end of the day Flux sounds cool anyway :)

I got my first Music Man off of Gearhunter last year. I also concur that is a great guy to deal with. The Sterling 4H I got off of him was fantastic and is still in the family.
