They look sweet. The Sterling line is the replacement for the OLP's if I remember correctly. I also remember BP posting that he initially didn't want it named "Sterling" but was over-ruled... funny if you think about it. What do the numbers signify?

yes it is a super high quality mid level instrument...these blew me away

I can easily see this as my son's next guitar, he tried a S.U.B. at the Music Live show back in October thanks to Blind Lemon and loved it, but by the time he wanted to buy one it was gone for good and all the few available now are asking silly money.

I so hope this will be the guitar that will finally put him off those dreaded pointed headstock I##nez guitars and will open the gates for him to the world of EBMM. Kids his age (14+) copy trends from heavy metal bands rather than appreciate good quality and playability. If bands like Trivium or Killswitch Engage would play Axis and Silos all these kids would buy them in the 1000's. Go figure ;)

Nice concept - and really great that we are being told about this.

(Spud now leaves the room b4 he gets his comeuppance)

I like that Axis. Are they the same spec as USA EBMM's? 5 bolt necks ?OLP or SUB 1 level? How much?

The 35 and 34 might be bass scale lengths but I don't know what the others are.

no nooo,

34 and 35 mean one is a StingRay 4 inspired and the other is a Stingray 5 inspired bass.

the first number 3(4) looks like is there to differenciate the different models

example:
SB 14
Axis20
Ray 34
JP 50

looks like those are following some kind of series sequence.

Yesss!

Now that's what I'm talking about - Every company I've been interested in since I started playing has had basic line of instruments - squier epi's etc.... but I never wanted to play them as they seemed a step down,

These look more along the mid range, how cool is that - if you can't jusitfy forking out for a US Musicman - here's a sterling that'll give you the shape looks etc for presumably 1/3rd the price...... and I bet they'll be as giggable so leave your limited's at home and take these on the road - I might even consider turning to the bass side if they're sub £500.... very cool.

I can't wait to see and try these, I presume they'll be compared to PRS SE's in terms or price?

LIKE IT A LOT
