wow, this pic tells me, that the Sterlings will have unfinished necks :eek:

the headstock and neck are finished. The neck has a thin satin finish. The headstock is glossy.

Guys you are really embarrassing me and my entire company. Esther does not deserve the multiple requests especially after Pat posted this. Grow up.

BP,

I remember my first thread here, you took the time to respond to my PM (Yes I was that stupid!) I also remember the ethos of not taking life so seriously which is why I come here, I seem to have lost my way??? It's probably stupidity or mental illness on my part but I didn't seem the embarrasment - can you PM me??

Pat - if I was out of line, please accept and pass on my apologies, however I personally couldn't give a monkeys if there was a pic or not, if I want to look at pictures of women, I'm sure I can find a source or two on the internet!!! There's been a thing on this board for a while where something or someone doesn't exist until you see a picture of them or it... It would appear I have lost my way somebody needs to kick me... BP you want to go first??

Confused an apologetic of Scotland.

Boys....Lets not overreact but I need you to understand that we run women off with regularity....responding to Pats original post is fair game but he clarified that pretty easily. I know Beth for one disappears a lot because of this.

Just feel the situation...sometimes like with the Brokenvail thread it was mutual and everyone had a laugh. I want to make sure that Esther is comfy here so she can load all of our international distributors up!

Dont worry Poppa still loves you I just needed to stop the trend on this thread.

Back to Sterlings!

Well in that case put me down for an AX20!

Edit: I read it's all good now. Pat, do you know if the prices on the SBMMs are known at the dutch importer (Voerman)? No info at all on their homepage...

Well BP if you say it I'm pretty confident you'll be wright :)

Another Q for Pat: are the locking tuners the Schallers that are used on the EBMM models?

the locking tuners we use are not Schallers. they are made in Korea by one of the top hardware makers in Asia. They work very good, smooth travel, stay locked/tuned and look great.

the original samples I installed on my office AX20 are still in tune.

Normally I hate when people quote huge picture blocks and everyone has to scroll through them again, but these deserve it, the attention to detail looks supurb. For some reason, seeing the "Sterling" cast on the bridges where the big boys say "Music Man" made me really happy, it's the little things like that that show You guys care (like when you go to a restaurant and the floors are really clean, and you just know it will be good, cause if they care about the little stuff like that, you know they'll really care about the big stuff).

I wish that A: I wasn't so broke right now :( and B: Yu guys were making a silo special model, but I have a feeling that you will sooner or later, since it's such a popular model. Make a maple fb HSS silo special with trem and I will sell enough amps and effects to get at least 1, I promise :D

OK my turn on this, first the AX-20 on the website has a tab for options but only see the TO hardtail, what is the other option?? Also why is MF ans GC not offering the AX-20? I hate floyds but a hard tail in that would rule and why no Luke model, OLP had one even if it was crap, plus how bout some natual or reds on these, thanks not complaining just asking:)

Hey Pat, looking at the Ray35, the pickup switch mentions a filter in the middle position. What filter is that?

it's a high and lo cut filter. in the center position the pickup is in series and the filter kicks in. the focus is on less boomy lows and less brittle highs, resulting in a warmer mid rich focused tone.

1- the AX20 is only available w/a hard tail bridge and only the Trans Orange quilt top. I'm looking at our AX20 page right now and cannot find where it lists any options.

For the record it is just the hard tail in Trans Orange

2-I can't comment on why GC or MF chose certain models. I can only guess that they have better luck with certain models? Playing it safe? I don't know, it would only be me speculating/guessing.

3-The Luke? It may happen. This year we are working with the models we introduced at NAMM. If you want to see something, certainly let us know. I am here alot these days and will see your requests.

Sorry I didn't respond earlier

Thanks
Pat
