YES !!!

I was praying that this bass would become a reality from the first photo I saw of it back in October. The 25th is not quite my cup of tea, but i'll be placing my order for a BIG AL as soon as pricing and colour combinations are released.

Thx BP and staff.

What a way to kick off the new year !!!

I’m right with you! I have been dreaming of an AL bass for quite awhile now, even before I heard that BP was getting one for his B-Day. Now I’m glad that I will be able to order one for myself!!!

Yippee! Happy day!

We were just goofing around the other day on the guitar side about a AL pinkburst bass and there it is.....................................I've been thinking about a bass for a long time. This might do it for me. Very nice...................

Yes! Now that is a freakin' cool bass right there. I'm happy this has become a reality.
Now I'm gonna have to figure where I'm gonna scrape $ up from.

The Big AL started as a gift for me....I got in the way and suggested that they make me one and it was off to the races. Like the original the Albert LEe was a custom guitar Dudley made for my xmas present in 86.

Albert Lee isnt a bassist but I wanted to name it after my nickname for him, Big Al...or big. Al is tickled to death.......

WE werent going to come out with it but about a month ago at one of our engineering brainstorming Thai food pigouts I decided to dump this on the already overworked engineering staff. It is just cool as can be. I actually think that it may find a wider audience as a bass than it has as a guitar....here are some pix from my camera....(and yes the battery went dead!)

Congrats on an outstanding new model. I'm a skinny-stringer, but wow..that bass looks great. I think you have a winner with that one!
