When Mrs OLPlayer, Spud And myself went to the Music Live Show in Birmingham, England, Mrs OLPlayer fancied the Sterling Bass. Now she's had a view of the AL bass, that's the one for her. When will it be available in the UK as I feel a pressie coming on?

I really like that new Ice Blue with a Blue Pearloid pickguard.

There's a picture of the Albert Lee guitar with that combo on the Music Man site on the color palette with white pickup covers. It kills.

Why this is a great company

I just gotta say that I'm happy to play basses made by a company that invents a cool/crazy bass as a birthday present, then decides at the last minute to build it at a Thai-food-pigout-brainstorming session. 'nuf said.

Except that the 3-pickup / 4 band setup has got to sound wild, and be super versatile.

Being that I'm almost 50 y.o. and a life long rick player, I've got to say that since 2003 (when the Bongo was born), this company run by BP has been very impressive and turned my head 180 deg's when it comes to how I look at bass guitars. I'm in quality control by profession and the high quality of these MM basses is equally impressive, please keep up the good work!

I know you guys have other stuff to consider, but as somebody who is going to order one, these basses are screaming for pickup covers that match the pickguard.

:)
