Let me see 130 guitars of 11 colors would come out close to 13 in each color! How is that going to take away from the the specialness of each guitar? If anything you want about 50 made at least in each color, and that is still a tiny run. The more made the more that get seen, and that equals the more people who would like to have one in years from now. Believe it or not that is why one off CS shop guitars built by other companies to an individuals personal specs no matter how expensive, are probably the hardest guitars to move.

My Green Tribute arrived yesterday at GC....1 of 8 sent to the United States.

*** I refused to accept it.... In my opinion, the guitar did not meet the expectation set by this Thread. ***

You can call the Mayfield Ohio Guitar Center if you want to purchase it. They have it hanging on the wall.

I will keep buying Axis & EVH guitars, don't worry :)

well, i can back tommydude up on that. Called the mayfield store today to buy it but requested pics first. Keep in mind i've been searching high and low for a green axis for over 6 months now. Got the pics and the top was nice, but failed in comparison to my evh. The part that turned me off was the back. That brown was not meant for that beautiful transs green guitar. I was ready to buy it till I saw that. Decided to hold off till another green comes around or they do a second batch with black backs

Not to sound Snotty either but the reason they have a brown back is that the are limited edition, if they didn't you can go buy a
regular Axis. If you go to Premier Guitar website and look up Ernieball Factory Vault, there's a video on there showing the first EVH's with brown back's, thats the whole point. I bought two, a Trans Pink and a Trans Black. I also have other Axis's and 4 EVH's as well. I think it's a job well done and i'm totally excited about the whole thing. I hope the other people who bought them enjoy them as much as I do.

Here's some more love for the Axis Tribute and a window to the remaining inventory as it begins to hit the stores. If you click on the main tile (#1) it will take you to an Axis Tribute landing page as well.

So , I'm turning in the Blue one to GC New Orleans tomorrow. My purple one will be here on Monday or Tuesday. On the advice from a fellow forumite, I'm keeping the Purple due to the fact that it was a discontinued color and the Blue is still available in the Axis. It is a killer quilt and very nice birdseye neck. Someone here should grab it.Pics on the Purple to come.
