KOmp jack was very diplomatic. Sax was going crazy with a lot of nothing. We want you guys here but if you have people posting 20x a day and only saying something2 or three the forum gets bogged down. Please re read jacks post and use that as your guide.

Welcome to the forum. My 2cents of advice...
I read the forum for a couple of months before joining. Many times I just lurk (due a heavy travel schedule). I also use the search feature before asking questions. I also try to resist posting when I have nothing too interesting to post.
Then again I am also middle aged and lack the enthusiasm of my youth. Except for EBMM basses, my new middle aged crisis :D

Good luck with the SR5. H or HH? I love my HH.

H probably. I want a Bongo in HH though, sometime down the road.

Eric can you play Pink Panther on your sax? Plas Johnson is one of may all time favorite Sax players.

tk

Yeah. I was in a swing band, and our last gig was recorded. However, the guy that recorded it and mixed did a horrible job. I can still see if I can find the CD, rip it and post Pink Panther on my soundclick. I did scew up the solo, though.

Welcome again. Relax and take it easy. Just some advice....check the search function and see how the vibe of the thread is going.

It is exciting being on a new forum and I can understand you wanting to fit in and contribute. That's all good. However, there is no need in "pushing" if you know what I mean. You will fit in just fine, believe me.

There are a lot of great people here and you will have to be thick skinned. Trust me on that!

I just want to remind everyone that this is an internet forum about basses (okay....and guitars:rolleyes: ). The only crimes punishable by death are posting "+1" 15 times a day and sending a PM to Big Poppa.

I haven't done either. So I guess I'm safe there. :)

Welcome Eric. You said you'd answer reasonable questions..
How's your time step? ;)
Time Step??

Can you snort Keith Richards through your saxophone?
I don't think so. 1, the mouth piece is too large for the nose, and 2) Keith Richards is too big for the sax.

I've been in and out of it for quite a while. I don't remember the terms well, except the basic steps (shuffle, heel step, ball-change, etc.).
