Just got back from two weeks in Ireland. My girlfriend's family is from there and still has the ole' farm that the grandparents and all zillion uncles and aunts grew up on.
I've always wanted to go, and have to say it exceeded my expectations. Gorgeous country, really friendly people. Travelled around quite a bit and loved everything I saw (especially my g/f's cousin's place- a few doors down from Bono and home to not one but two Ferraris ...).
Anyway, if y'all have the chance to visit it's truly gorgeous out there. And lots of sheep to boot.
...
To make this somehow guitar related ... I was traveling around the west coast (near Downpatrick Head). Turned on the radio ... first tune that came on was "Working On Love" by Albert Lee. Having just bought that CD at the clinic it was fresh in my mind ... what are the odds ...
