Is Gene Baker still working with EB/MM? Mods?

I recently read vague reports on The Gear Page and the Robbin Ford Discussion that Gene's not working with EB/MM anymore or after all... Is this true?

Good question. I did some snooping around and from what I can gather, Gene has started his shop up again called Gene Baker Guitars. He made a post on another forum about it. But as usual, some things on the 'Net could be untrue. It would be nice to hear from someone on the inside about it.

Yes It is true. Gene left EBMM a few weeks back and has decided to venture out on his own again. We wish him the best of luck.

It would have been cool to see what he came up with EBMM, but at the same time, I like what EBMM has so I am not super dissapointed. Plus he will probably still make whatever he has going on in that brain of his...
