Is it my computer , or does this site move like a snail??

For some reason, anytime I visit this forum I'm always waiting...and waiting...and waiting

I like this place, but it's frustrating when you have to wait for pages to open, etc...

I was just over at Harmony Central, Rig Talk, The Gear Page, and Metro Amps and they were all very fast...why would this one be different? It just took 20 seconds for the page to open up to post a reply

Ditto... Blazing fast for me as well!
Might be your work slowing you down if you happen to be there or that 56K connection if you might be dialing in on?? Or perhaps you've been bottlenecked by your cable company?

Same for me. Other sites are very fast but for some reason this one is slow for me most of the time. I have tried it with 3 different browsers and no joy. Probably my ISP since I have no problems otherwise.

Very very slow for me as well. Every other site I go to is a blink and I'm not at work. I have noticed this only today.

i have comcast high speed.

It was slow for me yesterday, but I noticed there were 250+ users viewing the forum, so maybe it was just caused by lots of traffic. All good now, though.

Usually slow for me too....screens paint like dialup. It's been like this for several months for me. I have this problem with 3Mbps DSL at home and 16Mbps broadband at work - so it's not my connection or my computer.

For a busy forum and me being outside the USA, it's nice enough, no issues here. I use Safari.

I think they need to add more stickies to the forum to speed it up.

No problems with me. At home I use firefox and whilst over here in Dubai
I'm using MS Internet explorer.

The only time I do have a problem is when I'm away using hotel lobby facilities and it is slow then - but so is everything else.

Only problem I had was yesterday when I couldn't send PM's but everything else was ok.

With a broadband connection everything is tickety boo.
