like what all would I need to do as far as wires and cutting and taking apart or removing this and that and maybe even tucking away the tone knob but keeping it turned to 7 and hiding it or would that cause feedback problem?

Sure you could just snip off the neck pup, but why not just leave the switch all the way back and leave it?

I agree ... what's the rationale for wanting to remove the other pickup, it's already there? Just leave the switch in the bridge position.

This had me wondering if it was either very late or very early when this post was made....

But I agree, just put the switch permanently on the bridge pickup position.

Bill, you could always pickup a Benji Madden which is a single H pup.

MusicMan® Instruments - Benji Madden™

You can find them used and NOS. There are a few on EvilBay I do believe.

Here's one, cheap:

Hope this helps, Glenn |B)

Was this guitar a gift, cause if you picked it out you must have done so wanting a HH guitar, dont let people make you feel silly( even if the question is silly) I would not recommend butchering a beautiful guitar such as an a.s.s for a single bridge humbucker config, just buy a guitar that will suit you, the EVH striped series are single buckers, benji madden as stated above and many others.

Is this question serious ?

Very sensible advice given on this thread even I would agree that if it were sent to me I would return a single PUP item
