...to find out if your guitar is in the build process?

Just wondering as it's now 3 months since my Luke was ordered so by that reckoning it should, theoretically, be being built

If the factory are reading, it's a Vintage Sunburst Luke, matching headstock and piezo option destined for Strings and Things in the UK, then guitarguitar in Edinburgh :D

Am already halfway to saving for the next EBMM

Ali,

Welcome back.

Your guitar may be in the GORILLA TESTING phase right now.

Actually, those tranny finishes may take longer than 3. Mine took 5.5.

Ali,

Checking with our international department we noticed a guitar like yours was on order from our UK distributor Strings and Things. Judging from our production schedule this particular guitar should be nearing completion around January 05. We appreciate your patience.

Best,

Derek

Thanks for that Derek, much appreciated :D

Maybe I should order the Axis soon if the build is fairly prolonged :)

I thought the international department was just a call center somewhere in Indonesia

Kofi, is the photo of the Axis you sent of a Vint Sunburst and blue burst?

I still need to find where they are before I can scan them for the other thread BTW. I think my 3 year old might have something to do with it...

Keith, bit worried about jdouglee's problems with the piezo and the Luke sounding "dead". Have you come across any problems in that respect?

Perhaps a bit thinner running one mono cord in the piezo/mono plug.
This also is noticeable in my axis supersports. It was explained on those guitars as a buffer capacitor issue I think.

But I wouldn't call it dead. But it's worth E-mailing JDOUGLEE to discuss as he knows his SH!T.
