dlloyd said:On average, Stingrays (9.5lbs) and Sterlings (9lbs) come in a bit heavier than Warwick Thumbs (7.7lbs).

Nick2 said:Well how heavy is a Fender Jazz? Cuz my warwick makes a jazz feel light. It might be the added bubinga and different hard, dense, woods, that make it heavy. And trust me, I'm no weerd, I can handle a heavy bass.
dlloyd said:Bubinga? It must be a different model than the one I thought it was, could you post a photo of it?
As far as I was aware all later bolt-ons are Ovangkol, apart from that limited 2003 ash/maple job. Was yours part of a limited run of bubinga bodied basses, or am I completely mistaken?
Fender Jazzes, like all basses, vary in weight. You can find 6 lb Jazzes and 12 lb jazzes. Is yours a squier?
Nick2 said:Mine is a limited edition 2001 bolt on, but you can't find many pics of it on the net, and the only review of it is in german.I know they did a limited edition run for the 30th anniversary of the bass cntre(or somethign or other) but mine doesnt have anything about the bass cantre on its certificate.
And my Jazz is no squier! It is a real fender.haahaha squier!![]()
