Right, I just can't afford to do it without selling Sparkley, and I can't sell Sparkley. So it looks like I will have to wait and maybe I will get another oppertunity.

Thank you all.

Here's the deal:

I may be about to buy Roberts (rlbates99) 30th anniversary stingray. In order to do this it would probably mean selling my sparkley ray which I have come to really love.

One question: is it worth it?

Zak

Only if you Sell the SPARKLE to Me??

You made the right choice man, it your first MM right? And a special one at that. The 30th may have awesome tone, but it's not worth it if you have a connection with the ray. Plus i think the sparkle has a really unique paint job, you don't see many (or any) other companies that did that sort of finish, i mean my sub looks like a 30th in bad light sometimes... And i'm definately going to keep my sub for as long as possible! first MM too :D

Yeah, you definitely made the right choice. And as I told you via PM, under the circumstances (your mixed feelings about selling Madame Redrise) I wouldn't have sold you the 30th unless/until you'd been able to get your hands on one to try one out first, in order to lessen the likelihood of your having any regrets. And by THIS time, my feeling has come even further around to "Don't get rid of that thing, whatever you do, unless you sell it back to me", because I miss it ... I miss everything about it, cosmetically, tonally, haptically ... I'm gonna go write a sad country song about it, now. Keep it!!

And besides, as far as THIS 30th over here goes, it may be about to get traded for a brand new GP Bongo4 HHP, anyway. :)

Oh is this a Red one, If it is I'm trying not to buy Duplicates, sometimes I forget which ones I have and before I know it there's 2 or 3 the same color. Thanks.

Yep. Autumn Redrise, though, not Redburst. Have you got a Redrise? Just curious. And by the way, if it's not too personal, where do u have room for all those basses, man?! :D
